Moving your puppet creations around will not be sufficient to be entertaining. You must inhabit the characters.
The puppets should have lives, stories, habits, gestus, personality.
As such, each team should take a post and should make a series of posts that bring their character to life in words.
You will need to respond to each other's posts. Agree and change details. Develop each other's points.

I actuallly forgot what we named our puppet but i think that our puppet should have a habbit of eating everything it can find to try and amuse the year 5's when whe do put this performance on what do you think guys?
ReplyDeleteWell In adition to this wonderful idea from Blessing I would suggest making good use of the shoe box as the body with this idea, maybe show some food inside it? or something based around that?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the habbit for eating everything it see's could apply more when he/she is sad/embarased/feeling awkward (and feeling such as those)
Ohhhhh great idea!! i love that and some how the shoe box can open as if it some storage or stomach!! yeah i agree giving it human qualities i think it would be so cute if he/she would eat when feeling shy lool idk why
Deleteheyy bee and dan i think that bee thats a really good idea and i think if we do put this performance up for the year 5's i think they will really like it!!!...and dan also an awesome idea!!..do you mean like food shapes like apple and stuff??...or like food boxes?? =) what do you think bee?? =D
ReplyDeletei think 3D objects shaped like robot food and not neccesarilly human food like oil etc. a bit like what bender uses in futurama :D he could be our stimulus that could be child friendly :)

Bead is a Robot who was abandened by the sky people by and trio of friends found him/her on theatre trip Bead was not programed very well and did not know who or what she was, Bead is a confused character that does not know where she belongs as she is trapped between the two extremes of synthetic vs. naturalistic!
Bead can sometimes be caught acting like a human by drinking simple things such as water which make her unwell and rusty, so she has to drink oil even though everyone can eat and drink anything they want but Bead just doesnt seem to get to grips with being diffrent which is something she/ he struggles with at the moment which she will conquer! with the help from her friends that try to teach her to be a robot while hiding this secret from their parents and media incase they try to exploit Bead!
